This isnt real play-doh. Its a chinese knock off. I refuse to let kids play with something that could be toxic. China cant seem to stop putting toxic stuff in dog food, will not test it with kids.

I bought the dinosaur colors as well as the other four 13-pack color sets-- unicorn, ice cream, mermaid and pirate--to donate to a local charity that puts together cheer bins for children's birthdays. I'm sure the children will enjoy using the Play-doh and the tools that accompany each set to complete the theme. However, the box for each is recyclable instead of the standard Play-doh box.. I recycle so conceptually, it's not an issue. Still, there could be something printed on the top of the box to indicate what the set is. There's a small graphic on one side, but if I hadn't know what I ordered, it would not be easy to decipher. If you are giving the set as a gift and wrapping the box, it could be made to look festive, but I'm not sure that it will look attractive as is. It would be like putting an Amazon box in a basket. At least if the manufacturer would have printed the theme and the contents on the top of the box, it would have appeared more like a gift without interfering with the ability to recycle the box. As a gift, the packaging is disappointing, but it is noted in the descriptive material for the item. That's why I gave it 4 stars, not just 3. However, I didn't realize what that meant in terms of appearance until it arrived without any obvious description info for the contents.

Like the product but the Playdoh comes in a generic cardboard packing box that won't even store the contents after it's opened. If you're going to break it apart and use these as stocking stuffers, it's fine...If it's for a gift, you're going to look like a cheapskate.

I bought the Pirate set during Black Friday sales. The colors and quality were so good that I wished I had bought more of the sets. I've put them in my cart to watch for the next sale.

I bought kinetic sand and other craft sets to entertain the grandkids but this was their favorite, despite them all being between 10 and 12. I guess you never get tired of Play-Doh.

You can't go wrong with play-doh, right? It's a cute idea and our 3 year old is obsessed with ice cream so she was pretty excited about the ice cream specific tubs and accessories. I will say that the ice cream colors just have little black chunks in them so while it looks just like ice cream at first, it quickly turns into a black tie-dye swirl looking color. The ice cream scooper is cute but doesn't work very well.

It came in a boring, brown package, which wasn’t exciting for her to open without having to open the box, but she absolutely LOVED everything that came with it. The sizes of containers were a decent size and all of the moulds came with it and look awesome. She loves the sparkly play doh the most and when she came to visit me, it’s the only thing she wanted to bring for us to play with!
