This Destiny PS4 bundle features a nice glossy white design with gold and silver design elements from the game. Improvements on this PS4 model include the Power and Eject buttons - they are snappier and work much better being mechanical and not touch sensitive as previous PS4 models (I recall hitting the eject button by accident as it is so sensitive to touch). The Destiny PS4 console really is an elegant looking PS4. Take a look at the unboxing pictures I've included to see what is in the package. The bundled Destiny: The Taken King game (physical disc) also includes DLC codes, being the Digital Deluxe version. Note that a white stand is not included, something that can be a bit deceptive in the product pictures posted here.

I'll try to make this review short and simple for those who are still wondering if they should purchase this bundle. First off, this is indeed the new CUH-1200 series PlayStation 4 - or C-Chassis. This model has the following new features:

- Mechanical eject and power button instead of being touch sensitive in which the prior model had. In my opinion, this is WAY better as the touch sensitive would sometimes not work unless you touch it at a certain point or angle. +1 for that
- Quieter by at least 15-20% compared to the older model. I had the original and sounded like a jet (over exaggerating of course), but definitely louder in comparison
- Less power consumption (reduce your electric bill a few dollars)
- Able to set it vertically. The previous model I noticed has vents thus if you were to put vertically, you would be blocking the air vents

Now, the console itself is VERY beautiful. This is actually my first very limited edition console and I couldn't be more than happy. The art design is completely detailed and is complemented by a Glacier White Controller. If I were to say one negative thing about the package is the controller should have been designed somewhat semi-Gold to match with the console a little more, but this is if I were to be really picky. Regardless, the console is gorgeous!

Of course, the package wouldn't be complete without the game, in this case Destiny: The Taken King (Legendary Edition). Inside the game case you get the following:

-Vanilla Destiny (Base Game)
-Code to a 30-day subscription of PlayStation Plus (which is required for you to play online)
-Destiny Expansion Pass to download both previous Expansions (House of Wolves & Dark Below)
-Code to download The Taken King (of course)
-Upgrade to the digital collectors edition (cosmetics, weapon, etc.)
-PlayStation exclusive content such as a new strike

If you do not like to read, do not lower the rating based on your ignorance. DO YOUR RESEARCH PRIOR TO PURCHASING ANY ITEM. This game requires 17GB+ prior to playing due to the major update that released a few days ago including prior patches to keep your game updated. Without the update you are not going to play Destiny at all. This is an online based shooter which indeeds requires PS Plus subscription to play online. NO PS PLUS, NO DESTINY.

Overall, I give this bundle an easy 5/5 especially considering most bundles that have released so far have been more than $399.99 USD.

I am a female, and I haven't had a playstation since the playstation 2 and I bought this console because let's be honest it's beautiful. I am looking forward to playing Destiny, since I am a first time player! However, be warned that the game requires you to download an update as well as the game that requires 17gb of DLC

. It arrived yesterday evening on time. Set up was fast and simple. I had no issues applying codes. However it is 2:28 pm and Destiny is stil downloading. Now I was very dissapointed that you have to download a game when you actually have the physical disk. I guess it's a smart decision for adding extra content to the game easier, but I am definitely old school when I want to put the CD inside and play. I also have the digital code for The Last of Us and for some reason that took overnight to colmpletely download whch included downloading the update and then downloading 10gb of data.

Overall everything runs smoothly. I enjoyed youtube and neflix which is fast and smooth. Just have patience and you will be just fine.

I am satisfied with the ps4 and would recommend to anyone looking to be a first time owner of a ps4 this bundle is the way to go !

I had to have my own system, while he has the regular Destiny version I on the other hand had to 1-up him 😊. Now he wants my game, we teamed up & have been kicking butt together, what better way is it for a couple to bond then with video games. I am addicted to this game!

I bought this for my younger brother and I, as we are both avid gamers. Plus, the fact that this was a white console didn't hurt! It looked different from the other console bundles that were on sale at the time, and my younger brother desperately wanted a PS4 for Christmas.I had previously attempted to purchase this console from a retailer on eBay but, unfortunately, my price wasn't good enough for him and he cancelled the transaction. My younger brother was absolutely heartbroken, until a friend told me that they had this bundle available on Amazon for around the same price.

Needless to say, I was ecstatic! Not only would I be able to make my younger brother happy, but I would get a great deal on what has turned out to be a great console! As of right now, my younger brother's favorite game is Need For Speed, while mine is Elder Scrolls Online. In addition to this console, we also purchased the Uncharted Collection box set, and the Final Fantasy "Realm Reborn" and "Heavensward" online games. As you can imagine, this tiny machine has brought my family many hours of fun and excitement.

While I can't speak as to the whole "PS4/XB1" thing, I can say that I would recommend this console to anyone who wants a great gaming experience without breaking the bank.
