Beware of Counterfeits!!!
on June 20, 2015
Ordered from a retailer NOT fulfilled by Amazon. Received a counterfeit/knock off of the official PlayStation controller. It is a flat pink color, the controls are stiffer, the PS button is off center, and on the back it states "Complies with IDA Standards DB102988". Found out IDA Standards is from Singapore.
That being said, This controller does work wirelessly with the PS3, but due to the controls would not use it with any precision game (FPS or the like). Only problem I've found is if you're using it while charging, you FIRST have to turn off the controller, THEN unplug it for it to recognize the system. Another thing that seemed to help was pushing the reset button on the back of the controller.
Have since ordered another controller, fulfilled by Amazon, that IS the official, real, controller from Sony.
