I can't always get the PS STore to work for transactions for me, for some reason.
I love the convenience of getting the cards on Amazon. Not only can I use promotional credits, points, and gift cards to help pay for the cards, but they deliver the cards IMMEDIATELY.

The digital codes are available immediately with a link to the online PS store. I just have to sign in, apply the card, which is pre-pasted, and it applies the balance to my account. I can then spend any of the balance and direct the games to download to our PS4. If there's any balance, it will stay on the books there at the PlayStation Store for use the next time you shop.

I trust Amazon's credit card processing a lot more than Sony's, so this is the way I prefer to get PS4 cards online. It really couldn't be easier, or faster. Because of security reasons though, you'll need to have your credit card handy; the one click settings won't work for the e-cards, but once paid for, the code is on the confirmation page with a link to redeem it. Then it works just like any other card.

I got one for someone for a gift too, and in that case, I just emailed them the code.

I purchased the PSN card while on a trip to Canada. My plan was to rent and watch movies at a birthday party for two little kids. As the address associated with my Amazon.com account is set to United States I had no problems purchasing the PSN card. At the time this seemed an elegant and much safer solution than adding my CC to the PSN (especially after all the hacking fiasco). However once I got my code and tried to enter it on the children's PS3 account I immediately was welcomed by a "Code not valid" message. As it turns out a US customer with a PS3 located in the US you can purchase this product and use it. However so far the code is not usable outside of US. Other buyers please be aware of this (hopefully temporary) limitation.

I came back and edited my previous review as I felt I was too harsh on Amazon. Their customer support actually promptly replied to me and refunded the $20 I paid for the non-functional PSN card and explained that they are working on improving the experience. According to Amazon they are "currently working on getting more information about these codes and the ability to use them on international accounts available to [Amazon's] customers to prevent this from happening again." I think this is a very good idea as I can make use of my Amazon account to purchase PSN products anywhere I go without having to entrust my CC number to another unsafe retailer.

Good job Amazon. Great customer service. I commend you.

Note: I rated this product 4 stars because of Amazon's customer service and the refund they provided. My previous rating was 2 stars ... as the product was not worth paying for when I previously purchased it. I am not sure if the product is worth 5 stars as I haven't used it yet.

i ordered a 50$ also just after this one with no luck so far ,

will see what happens with that one , then post and rate the service.

UPDATE : NOV don't remember exactly
i got my 50$ code after a 2 hours delay,and i was so close to canceling the order but that would take 12 hours to confirm and the psn code takes up to 4 hours to be sent.
so i kept my order and after 2 hours i got an email with the code , and guess what? it worked .

my initial rating was 5 stars for the 20$ card , and since amazon wont let me put 2 reviews(one for each card)and my rating for the 50$ purchase is 3 stars , then the average would be 4 stars.
i recommend you to stick with the 20's since it seems to be a lot faster and that is exactly what i'm doing on my next purchase'S .

UPDATE : DEC 5th
i just bought another 50$ code , and it took less than 1 minute to complete the purchase and get the code.

from where am looking it looks like amazon will give you one card at a time and if you try to buy an other one a message will appear on the screen saying it would take some time for security purposes.the good news is you are still getting your code , the bad news is it will take some time ( 2 hours for me ) .

i have updated the rating for the service to 5 stars.
