About the Author
Omkari Williams began her professional life as an actor – work that perfectly suited her fascination with story. For over 20 years she explored stories of characters, while fictional, who spoke to universal human truths. Then she decided to take a break and explore other aspects of life. She moved into a meditation ashram where she spent three years diving into understanding life, herself, and ways to live in our complicated world with grace and ease. Today, Omkari writes and speaks on story and its importance in our individual and collective lives. In her life and creativity coaching practice she helps clients share their unique stories. “Our stories are the bridges between us and others,” she says. “Sharing our stories can help heal the world.” Her work has been published in Elephant Journal, Tattooed Buddha, My Empowered World, and Paprika Southern magazine. A native of Manhattan she now lives in Savannah, Georgia - a city that loves it stories. Connect with Omkari at omkariwilliams.com and on her Facebook page.

Wanting more, I closed my eyes, opened the book to a random place and chose Health. I really like the way she uses the trees in each section to visualize the processes to think through, gives specific questions after her “talk” to get me thinking and then gives me free space to write it out. Good clarity and goal-setting happened in this section which I found carried through the day.
Also, the book fits into my planner, so I am keeping it with me as I move through the day. When I have a blank spot of time, I’ll pull it out.
The only suggestion I would make is that I think I may want more products like in the future. Maybe a child/ family version? Some thing I can sit and do with my family would be fun. A lot of what I was moving through last night I found that I was reflecting on for my children as well. Is anything in the works?
I’ll try to follow up later after completing more of The Playbook. Again, sorry if this review is long. I tried to include what I would want to know.
Plus, it's gorgeous! I love the blank pages on the inside that allow me to color as I consider the questions and reflect.
