Reading excerpts of other stories at the end of the book - this may be the author's style. Just read samples of several books so you know what to expect.
Major plot hole - Ban could have paid for Hunt's hotel room, there was no need to give up his room. And MCs could have shared a bed without this as a reason. Or the author could have found another reason to cut the stay shorter if she ran out of ideas what they could have done to fill the time.
It starts with Banyon's story. A high school relationship with a bisexual man who went on to university and married a woman who leaves him scarred and unsure if he's worthy of a man's love. Turning to escorting he's feisty, manipulative and savvy to all kinds of ways to avoid sleeping with clients. Finding himself falling for a client who likes his pretty underwear, Ban thinks the man might be in the closet which awakens old scars.
Stanton has a thing for feminine flashy men but senses Ban has trust issues. After a crazy turn of events with one of Ban's friends, he slowly starts to gain Banyon's confidence but witnessing a reunion between Ban and an old lover causes Stanton to walk away. Lonely once again he wonders if he made a mistake.
Fears, meddling friends, and their questioning love kept me turning pages to see what happen next.
