I love these two together. Zee doesn't think she's worthy of Cal, and that the best thing to do is to run away from him and go back to her old life. But he thinks differently, and sets out to find her and prove to her why she belongs with him.
There are some fantastic surprises that I truly did not see coming in this book. It's a little faster paced than book one, and equally as fun to read. Not to mention, the locations mentioned make me want to be on a beach with a fruity umbrella drink in my hand.
This was a great conclusion to Cal, Zee, Ava and Rowan's stories. I very much enjoyed this series.
Filled with thrils, chills and spills - this fast paced romance is more than a love story on the run. Cal and Zelda's passionate relationship is marred by the evil men chasing her and endangering the lives of our characters.
Zelda knows too much and she has double crossed the wrong players. They will not take it lightly so she has to run. As she runs Cal follows trying to protect her and perhaps the destiny of his own brother and country.
Turns and twits in the plotline will keep you at the edge of your seats. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this series!
Fist bump! Yes! I loved secondary characters Zelda and Cal in book 1 so couldn't wait for book 2. And Boy did Tia Louise deliver on everything you expect from her stories and a bit more. You got HOT times, two strong characters not willing but oh so ready for a HEA and... some suspense & intrigue. Yep. No spoilers here. However, for Cal and Zee to get a HEA, there are nefarious people who stand in their way. Ms Louise keeps you turning the page for entertaining read to see "how will they get out of this?"
My recommendation is for those readers who like a Cinderella finds her Prince Charming not so easily. There are hiccups and hurdles along the way but just enough steamy scenes to keep your imagination on HOT! If you are a first time reader, read book 1 - just must be read in order. If you've read book 1, this is a satisfying conclusion for the storyline.

I had no idea what we would get with the Player for a Princess Book 2 but this, this time Tia Louise Blew Me Away, This Is Her Best writing to date for me, within this duet! I want to shout it from my rooftop to go buy this book NOW, oh yes I can go do that but seriously folks we know Tia can write she has proven herself in what like 10 to 12 books now she did a group of military gone security bad to the bone hot hero's, and then to spin a couple of those into a what if they were vampires and witches paranormal. To This and I think she needed all of those to do this because these two books have so much in them and they flow wonderfully and that is from her confidence within her own writing style, her storytelling abilities shine through these duets, it has grown in leaps and bounds from her experience and that is so awesome and proven in these books! It should be inspiring to others that are trying to write! The characters are very well rounded and developed and even the ones you love to hate and I would love to be in some parts of this book so that I can actually strangle someone! lol But her descriptive writing has grown with each book, she is on Top of her game and I hope she keeps on going strong! I promise I will recommend and share both of these books to people!!!
This book has even more mystery, schemes, lies and deceit from all sides that reach out to these main characters, I don't know if any of them know at some points if they can trust anyone but each other and at first I know Cal is struggling but he finds out quickly his Princess is being used, played and then even abused! This book is action packed from the first page and just keeps getting in deeper and deeper, I am not going to spoil the book I want you to read it but Seth is a Dirty Dirty rat and he is going to get his, I am going to tell you that! I Love and Cal and Zee and I wanted them to have a center point and more meaning and boy do they ever! So much more is in this book and it is written flawlessly and is just excellent! I loved the banter between Cal and Zee and also the fright of people all around them. They fall in love fast in the first book and for Cal in the middle of finding out the lies they were telling in the first book to the changes that happen in this book is just Wow because you know what? Love can conquer a lot! I felt like I was right with Zee in this book the things that happen, I was right with her and I was scared, you might have joy in a second and the next you have a knot in your throat and you want to throw you kindle, hide your face scream and then cry some more! The petty crimes these girls had lived were nothing in comparison to what is coming in this book, these are not petty crimes these are innocent lives that are victims because of circumstance and the things Tia leads us through is pretty horrific, but some time that is life and you need to see it and know it really is out in our world each and every day this evilness in people that only care is money! You will meet some new characters that you will love in this book, because they face fear for our girl Zee and you got love that! When I read the first book I am thinking how is this going to be another Cinderella re-make but uh no it was obviously very different it is about a Prince one about to be a King and then you add in another brother and it all changes, no bad stepsisters only bad people in general who may or may not be related that do not want these young men to take over a country that Greed can make some people just very angry and evil!
I loved that in the second book Tia Louise changes gears a bit and the focus shifts just a tad and it’s a very good tad! The characters she has built in book one just jump out at you and into your heart, I cried and I screamed and then I cried some more, so ok it’s an emotional ride for me truly it was I was gutted not once but twice, just a blubbering mess. I still loved every minute of it, if I suffered I needed to for the book for the greater cause, for these characters for what happens in this book and what they mean to me, to all of us and I love that in this Duet! :) I Hope you Love it as much as I did!
Another little tid bit I remember when I saw Tia writing bits and pieces of thinking of writing a duet about a Prince an what things did we remember if we read one in the past, what did we like or didn't like in those sorts of books and then she released her book and I see like 10 other people writing Prince or King type books and I am like what the heck? I dunno how that happens, I'm guessing ideas come along all the time but ya know what? They are not near as good as this one is! I can bet you that because that's what I say and I'm sticking to it! Thank you so so much Tia Louise for writing this I LOVED IT! And everyone else will Love this Duet. And again for me it is Fantastic and your best writing to date!!!! Get to one clicking people A Player for a Princess is finally here! It’s a ride you will never forget!
I absolutely fell in love with this dynamic couple. It is a sexy fast paced sizzling romance that will take you to exotic , thrilling locations !
Zelda once again decides that she shall be the protector of her sister. She flees and places herself in hiding to protect her. She is on the run and may have left behind the only man she has ever loved. Cal can not imagine his world without Zelda in it. He decides that he will set out on his quest to find the love of his life at any cost. They maybe opposites but that is the beauty of their love!

This story has everything I love in a story. A smart, sassy, strong heroine and a strong yet vulnerable hero. There was suspense, heart-felt scenes and scenes that tore me apart emotionally. Tia knocked it out of the park with this one. Do yourself a favor and read this book and the series.
