The Player's Kit took the guitar polish world by storm a few years ago and continues to amaze users worldwide. The online reviews for this product sparkle. Finally a guitar polish that does more than just clean - it polishes and removes scratches, too. Easy to do & your finish will never look better; all this without harsh chemicals or tools. Standard Kit does about 20-25 body applications front to back, that's one guitar up to 25 times, or use on multiple guitars (Note-many guitars require more than one application). A little bit of polish goes a long way. Safe for repeated use and works on high gloss finish types including poly, nitro, and lacquer. Designed for light to medium surface scratches. Works on hazy and dulled finishes. The product is NOT designed for deep scratches, dings, chips, scratches well into the finish, nor major finish damage. For high gloss finishes only. Not a filler, wax, or cover-up. Kit comes complete with everything you need, including a dual-blend set and a deluxe microfiber towel. Each kit bottle is 2.1 ounces for a total of 4.2 ou set, plus towel & instructions (additional towels recommended). Works on all colors and brands of guitars: electric, acoustic, classical, and basses. (Not compatible with all Rickenbacker models) For high gloss finishes only.

Overall happy with it, probably works better on lighter colored guitars. Still worked well, but didn't quite restore it to a "brand new" state, even after multiple uses. Worth your money? Probably, not sure if anything else on the market will compete.
1. Does it work?
Yes and I have been buying and selling guitars for quite a while, and have alot of product for this purpose. This works better than anything I have used.
2. How well does it work?
That depends on two things.
a. How deep the scratch is
b. How well you use the product.
If the scratch cannot be felt with your fingernail this will make it disappear, and even slightly deeper marks can be greatly diminished to the point you cannot see them without working.
3. Do I recommend this product.
Yes, but with a caveat. It is not magic, you have to work at it. My first use was on a guitar back that was covered in what I call fabric rash. Lots and lots of fine scratches that were just deep enough that a normal polish would not touch them. I tried my normal collection of automotive products, and they would not make them go away either. Two hours of work with this product and guitar looks like it should be hanging on the wall of a store.
