Dr. Youn has written a moving and humorous memoir that is a must-read for medical students, doctors, and anyone interested in the fascinating world behind the clinic curtains and the operating room doors." -- Dr. Andrew Ordon, MD, FACS, board-certified plastic surgeon and co-host of the Emmy Award-winning show, "The Doctors"

"Part Botched, Part Grey's Anatomy, my good friend Dr. Tony Youn has written a fun and fascinating book that reveals what really happens behind the OR curtain. This is the rare medical memoir which doesn't take itself too seriously, but gives you the straight scoop on what it takes to become a top surgeon in today's crazy world of medicine. I loved it." -- Dr. Sandra Lee, aka "Dr. Pimple Popper," board-certified dermatologist and author of "Put Your Best Face Forward"

5.0 out of 5 stars A plastic surgeon’s story of trial, despair and succes. 5 *****
By DrReeder on January 31, 2021
Last night between 2:30 and 3:00 AM, I finished Dr. Anthony Youn’s book published in 2019, “Playing God.” I certainly enjoyed reading this segment of his life and I was so enthralled that I ordered, “In Stitches,” so that I could start reading it the minute I finished.

I would like to thank Dr. Youn for sharing his life with others. At times, I just had to smile and then others I could feel the frustration, despair and hurt that his experiences brought.

I hope he continue to share his story with us. I would buy the next book he publishes of his life, the minute it it is released, possibly even prior to its release.

May God continue to bless him as he follows his dreams.
