Good size for kids - a bit too small for car washing, unless your kids are washing your car. Easy to expand and collapse - seems like they will hold up well in the hands of children. We're unable to test them as sand castle molds right now. They nest nicely on each other if you are carrying or storing more than one. When collapsed, fits nicely in a drawer, under the stroller, beach bag, etc. Mainly purchased for camping and beach & lake days during the summer.
