      After buying my son his first Playmobil set, the Ancient Egyptian-themed Sphinx set and the Egyptian soldiers set as an accessory to go with it, I had to find some rivals to fight against so I got him this Roman warriors set and it's just great! I grew up with Playmobil toys and so now I am introducing my son to the toys that brought me so much joy growing up. In short, they are just amazing; the quality, the detail, and the educational value are all excellent. I am now in the process of collecting the rest of the Ancient Egyptian and Roman-themed sets for him. Playmobil should now produce themes of Ancient Greece (Athens, Sparta, Macedonia, Troy, Corinth, etc) and Persia!

      Playmobil toys are durable, fun and great toys to play with. Requires minimal assembly and offers near endless play possibilities. The Roman / Egyptian line is great because it gives children a fun way to learn about history and explore the world of classical Europe, at least the sphere of the Romans and Egyptians. My son loves his Roman and Egyptian Plamobil toys. I was sad to learn that the line has been discontinued by Playmobil. Very much recommended.
