As usual Playmobil has done it again. Both girls and boys alike will enjoy this. If a little girl loves horses she will be in horse heaven. Okay, I can say that I am a Playmobil fanatic. I love how well they are made, they are mostly made in Germany (the ones that are not I have written the company to express my disapproval), they are the most gender neutrally-colored toys around. The vibrant reds, greens, and blues are neither boyish or girlish. My 5-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter love both playing with the sets TOGETHER...which I love to see. Now I know some people are saying, that I cannot spend that much on toys when there are cheaper ones out there. I can honestly say that in this instance you get what you pay for. The quality is wonderful and these are toys that have been around since the 70s when I was a kid and I am sure my kids will have these forever to hand down to there kids.

I was a little nervous because the applicable age range went up to 9 if I remember correctly. However, my daughter LOVED building the set (especially once she found the handy dandy building tool!!) and she has marveled at the little details Playmobil built into the set - even cups for the riders when the need refreshment :). Great for the horse lover in your life. The price was daunting for us but my daughter wanted it for 2 yrs. This is a toy of pure quality!

We got this for our daughter's 5th birthday. It was well worth the money. She loves it.

Putting it together was a nightmare. It was a good two hours. We should have put it together before giving it to our daughter. Instead, she waited patiently as we put it together. I had no idea it would be so complicated.

If you have little babies in the house, you need to be careful because there are lots of small parts. But that is what makes this playset so much fun- there are so many details. The variations are endless.

A great playset. Good quality. Lots of details.

My little girl loves it. The one warning I would give is that parents have to make a concerted effort to keep everything together during and after play because there are a lot of little parts that WILL get lost very easily, or stepped on. Other than that it's a great little play set.

Way too many pieces. I really do not recommend this for a child under 12 years of age. This is a top that the parent will definitely be putting together over and over for young ones. Pieces were lost within 20 minutes of opening. Very frustrated!!

This has many parts which keep the kids entertained for long times at a stretch. Love the details as usual in the Playmobil products. They still like to bring these out to play with. Does take a fairly long time to assemble all of the stable parts at the beginning. Not hard work, they just click together, but quite a few parts involved. Many fun adventures to be had with the horses.
