Bought this for my son's Star Wars nursery. It's an awesome toy/figurine but my wife and I were talking and it seems like the quality of Mr Potato Heads have been decreased since when we were younger (80's.) The arms are a little stiff and it's hard to keep the dude in a pose but all in all, it's a really novel idea for Mr. Potato Head and looks cool in the room.

In a distinct galaxy of spuds just below the crust of our Earth he lay dormant since 1977 patiently awaiting his time. Lucas hard as you would, he was not to be seen or found. Yet. The world now welcomes this newest, freshest reincarnation of the famous vegetable man, still relevant after all these years, who emerging from the dark sighed, "Luke, I am your fodder."

Darth Tater stands approximately 7 ½" tall , weighing 11.1 hard, muscular ounces. His generous girth measures 13 inches around and he's been only one cannoli from adding to his round figure. Darth Tater looks fierce and resplendent with his all black ensemble of hat, mask, cape, gloved arms and feet. His red, translucent light saber contrasts nicely with the black.

In the rear of Darth Tater one can open his hinged bun door to access storage inside his hollow body. This recess can be home to the extra parts included with this "toy, " pink ears, white teeth, a red tongue, and a red nose. Playskool suggests that the purchaser or recipient of this Mr. Potato Head create funny faces. "Use your imagination to create all sorts of wacky looks.

Four different variations are pictured on the cardboard insert, but with the dearth of extra pieces there aren't many more possibilities. With pieces available from other Mr. Potato Heads, one is limited only by his or her imagination.

My Darth Tater will remain, as he is, a spud in black, standing proudly on display in between Pirate Potato Head and Toy Story Potato Head. Pleased just to have him as part of my collection, I neither needed nor wanted extra body parts, but to function as an exercise in imagination and creativity, Darth Tater should have been given more extra parts.

WRONG HANDS, WRONG FEET, WRONG POTATO HEAD. the hands don't even fit on the body. it will freely fall when attached. the body looks big. in the picture you can see the difference of the shoes. looks like the body parts were salvaged from other toy. "this is the first darth that i"m not happy with" quoted by my wife. darth figures are her collection. very disappointed!

As a Star Wars fan I wanted to get this for my desk at home. I have been very happy with it and my kids love playing with it also. It is a fun, toy!

The only problem I have had is that the arm that holds the lightsaber is not very tight. The result is that when I put the saber in his hand it doesn't stay in the position shown in the picture. Not a huge deal, but thought I should mention it.

This was a gift for a co-worker in another state, so I had no idea how this gift would go over, but it seemed like something that would make this person smile at the least. The voicemail I received I still have saved as it's priceless, you would have thought I sent pure gold the person was so excited, they absolutely loved this item, and I can't Thank You enough for helping make my friend smile :)

My nephew holds this and runs around saying "bom bom bom ba ba bum ba ba bum" trying to emulate the star wars tune. Great for teaching him the anatomy of darth vader and familiarizing him with a light saber. I really wish the light saber turned on. My nephew kept trying to turn on the fake switch on the side and he loves buttons and switches. It is what it is. A potato head that will last forever that looks like vader. sweet.

I got for my nephew for his 2nd birthday and he loved it! Super fun potato head toy with removable star wars accessories, so it can easily integrate with other potato head pieces. Favorite piece? The light sabor by far. Plus it was big enough to not be a safety concern.

He was exactly what I hoped he would be. He is a wonderful conversation piece. I am an adult and I collect mean potato heads. He was a wonderful addition to my collection. I have let kids play with him and he seems to hold up well against them.
