The directions were easy to follow. My 9 year old daughter could easily do it herself. I did allow her to use my essential oils which she enjoyed. Following the directions didn’t allow for enough product to fill the bath bomb ball but it didn’t bother her. We also couldn’t get the entire ball to stick together no matter how hard she tried so she improvise and made 1/2 bath bombs for everyone in our family. It would have been nice to have other colors to use instead of just red. But, it is a fun kit and she will get lots of use out of it. I liked the explanations that came with the book. As a Chemistry teacher I appreciated the science behind it.
