So back in 2003 I started on the quest to try and get this book. I ordered it pre-sale and then it just never came out. It's not that its a bad book its that although the author obviously finished it, it was never produced. I did my best to try and find the publisher to find out what happened and it seems like they fell off the face of the earth (or never responded to me). I went out of my way to try and find the author and no response from there either. I even hand wrote a letter and mailed it snail mail in case email was not working, or I had a bad address. I never got any response from anyone.
I finally talked to a research librarian who did a little poking around for me. She said that it was never printed, probably due to either the publisher having the rights and going out of business or some kind of litigation. However whatever happened, apparently this can hold up the book from being published and the book can simply sit in limbo land and no one can produce it. Needless to say, I wouldn't bother putting this on your request list as I don't think it will ever be printed (or the printed version ever released for sale).
Oh and if I am wrong and someone out there does have a copy, I would go out of my way just to get my hands on this....obviously its become a bit of an obsession as its just the research information I was looking to find.
And if I am right and it will never get printed, then I wish Amazon would take it off of here, as it is just sitting around making me wish I could buy it...sigh.
