These are big and tasty

I used to get Jumbo Medjool Dates mailed directly to me from a farm in California, and they were delicious. I guess the farm went out of business because I couldn't find them on google. So I went to Amazon, and tried a couple of products labeled Jumbo Medjool Dates, and was disappointed either with the taste or the size. Then I tried this product from Oh! Nuts, which doesn't even say "Jumbo" on the package. They are delicious, plump, and juicy. I've ordered them several times from Amazon, and no matter what season it is, the dates were great and reasonably priced.

Since I live in a rural area of western NY, I have ordered nuts and dried fruit from Amazon for many years. These are simply the BEST! My mother raised seven kids and a very healthy diet long before it was a fad and we often had DATE CAKE with Whipped Cream for birthdays. Date Cake was just that...dates pressed together with a dollop of Guernsey cream whipped with a little brown sugar. Dates have long been associated with celebration and so they are a staple. Never have I had dates that compared with these. Plumpest is the best descriptor ever.

After being disappointed in the local selection of dates, I came here to Amazon, as I'm guessing whoever is reading this has also done.

I have some good news for you. These are very good dates. Each one was perfect: large, fresh, plump, flavorful, chewy- the full package. Do not hesitate to purchase these. They are 100% worth the price and wait for delivery.

One caveat, these are not pitted, so bite down with caution.

Im no expert in dates, but I cant imagine them tasting better than these suckers. They are plump, juicy, creamy and satisfying. I have been trying to eat 6 a day during the end of my pregnancy and they make it fun and easy. I like stuffing goat cheese or almond butter in them. The 2 lb bag seemed like a lot when I first got it but now I am getting close to re-ordering. They stay super moist and pit is easy to remove.

I had an issue with my first order, and customer service was phenomenal. I highly recommend working with Oh! Nuts and these dates. They are what they say they are. They are moist, plump, and soft. Don't get me wrong, they aren't 100% fresh like you'd find direct from the grower, but they're way better than what you'd find in a typical grocery store.

Product had great reviews and it is clear many customers have been satisfied. As with any perishable product, things can vary. Unfortunately the bag I received contained dates that looked they had taken a bit of abuse. When opening the bag there was a fermented odor. Sampled one date to make sure my nose wasn't fooling me, but the date had an odd, somewhat moldy taste. Thankfully, Amazon was quick to provide a refund.

Wow! Just wow! These are the largest softest dates I have ever seen. I made bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese for a party and everyone raved about these dates. So easy to open to remove the pit. Ordering them again now. I Order from Amazon many times a week but don't have a lot of time to write reviews. This product was worth the time!
