I liked the patterns and the fact that it consistently carries sizes from Medium to 3X; however, I should mention that pattern #4 goes to 2X. The font size of the text in the book is easy on the eyes, so I don't have to squint, and the pictures are clear to me. The back of the book provides general instructions with regards to some terminology, hooks, abreviations, joining, weaving seams, the location of a back loop and where to stitch on a post. All of this makes a difference to me because I have not picked up a crochet book in 15 years! --and yes, this is my first book review.

I have had this book for a long time! I have made a lot from it. The patterns are true to size ,easy to make even larger if needed . I made several for friends and they have loved them.
I wish there were more plus size crochet books out there to chose from. But until there are this will be my favorite pattern book.

So far I have crocheted 2 of these sweaters, both cardigan/Jackets, and I am delighted. They actually run a bit large and they go together beautifully! I was fascinated in making the sleeves on one how the reductions and increases coincided with the front and back when assembling them. As a very experienced costumer/sewer I appreciated the shaping of the underarm area allowing for movement without stress on me or the garment.

I did end up making one shorter in the sleeves and longer in the body. It surprised me when the body came just below the waist, I didn't get that impression from the photo. It was easily remedy for my long waist, and the sleeve length was no problem to shorten.

I highly recommend this book for all tastes. The designs are classic enough to make as is, or tweak for personal tastes. I used solid color for one and a variegated for the other with an accent for the banding. Excellent!

I loved this booklet. It is so hard to find easy patterns for plus-sized women.

I purchased this book looking for a gift for my sister. I found the patterns easy to follow. If I can do it anyone can.

I thought there would be more patterns than this but the patterns were good so I'm satisfied.
