I LOVED the ending of this story. It is so worth between Cooper and Allison relationship. These two will drive you crazy. It is very hot too and very emotional book. You might shed a tear. This is a short series but am one happy reader. I highly recommend this book to everybody who is hopeless romantic like me that love reading hot but good book.
After spying on Cooper, Allie is left to wonder who the actress is and is bound and determined to find out. While she's got that on her plate, she is also dealing with hot and cold Cooper. One minute the guy can't get enough of her and the next he pretends he hardly knows who she is. Like Allie, I was getting real tired of this game and wanted her to move on with Parker.
"You were, and still are, the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life and something about you fills up a hole inside of me that's been open and aching for a long time." ~ Cooper
Like most million/billionaires in these romance books, Cooper has some emotional baggage he is carrying around which is affecting his relationship (if you can call it that) with Allison. He wants her, but because of his past is afraid to go all in with his emotions. He has also been on a personal mission for years and is so close to getting what he wants.
"He was the most complicated man I'd ever met. He brought out every emotion within me, sometimes all at once. He could make me so angry and fierce that I wanted to punch him, and then rebound two seconds later and have me eating out of the palm of his hand." ~ Allison
Back and forth these two went in their personal lives and at work. As the convoluted story started to make sense, it was a wonder who was going to be left standing after all was said and done. The game had more players than Allie realized and now doesn't know who to trust as it seems that everyone had a stake in it.
The end. That's the but. The story came to a big climax and then just ended. No epilogue, leaving quite a few lingering questions which made it feel unfinished. I absolutely loved books one and two, however felt extremely cheated out of an ending in this final installment.
