About the Author
Christopher Daradics is a student of life, lines, & love. He has a BA in Christian Ministry from a college you’ve never heard of in the middle of nowhere in another country, a Master’s in Reading Books and Kicking Ass (aka Liberal Arts) from the third oldest (and most rigorous) college in the US, and a Ph.D. in Street Crossing from the streets of Cairo, Egypt. For the better part of a decade he worked as a classroom teacher after which he began experimenting with other ways of learning and teaching. The first of his extracurricular projects took shape as Overhear, a dialogical seminar series and podcast which is basically a fantasy conversation league for geeks (weoverhear.com/overhear). The trip that inspired this book was his second attempt at learning (and teaching) something outside of the classroom.
