Here are some tips on the box.
*Warm up the bread for 20-30sec (500w microwave) / if the bread is dry or hard, it may not work - Use fresh bread!
*Do not put too much ingredients. If too much, it may break the bread
*put ingredients in the center.
*Avoid ingredients that are hard or contains water.
*Thin sliced bread recommended.
*If you are having difficulty, try pressing around the edges.
Hope this helps!!
I also purchased the Wonder Bread pocket sandwich cutter, and I prefer this one!
It's not small, it actually fits my bread perfectly. (I did post reference pictures, to give more of an idea.)
In a few cases now, the rounded part of the bear's face works well for the top part of the bread that makes a strange "hill" sometimes. It lets me use most of those slices that I wouldn't be able to with the Wonder Bread pocket sandwich cutter.
The edges don't seem as sharp as they need to be, but I just push a little harder and do it on a hard surface (not a paper towel, like with the Wonder Bread pocket sandwich cutter), and then move it around to make it cut all the way through.
Microwaving the bread, as per the instructions does help with the cracking. This works best with white bread...unfortunately, we don't eat that often in my house. So, with the whole wheat, I microwave the bread with a lightly dampened paper towel, and quickly fill it, then stamp. Usually, there's no cracking, but it can still happen!
Unfortunately I found the placement of the nose and mouth pieces to be too close and they just pierced the bread causing the sandwich to crack.

Bought this after seeing something similar on YouTube. The impression is not as clear as it shows in the picture and they don't cut the bread very easily. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Amazon Customer

My daughter WILL NOT eat PB&J sandwiches for me. I started making these teddy bear sandwiches to take to daycare and she would inhale two a day!Published 7 months ago by JNei
Love it! Works great. I took some of the advice from other reviews. You just have to experiment a little to get it right.Published 8 months ago by Amazon Customer
