Way better than the other highest ranked case on Amazon that fits the lg velvet. It kept breaking in like a week. So far this case is working great. I was able to use the protective film on the inside of this case as a added bonus for safety. I haven't tried the tempered glass with this case yet. But so far this is working out great. If this case breaks just know I'll end up buying it again anyway because there aren't many phones cases on Amazon right now for this phone that works as good as this one does.

I just got the LG Velvet and was worried about finding a cover/case that would fit and allow the function to perform as it should. Because the from glass is curved, and many of the phone's commands work from the sides. I didn't think it would work well. It works perfectly and even the fingerprint sensor works well. My other concern was the size of the case, I was concerned it would be big and bulky. It's not at all, it's just great. It's also an attractive case, and looks great. This is my third case by Poetic and I highly recommend them.

Only time will tell how well this product will protect my LG Velvet, but I have high hopes for it. If you have a LG Velviet I recomend this case, but If you havent bought the phone yet I would ovoid the Velvet.

I love this case, its value and looks are immpecable but i have 2 issues with it, the lighter issue is that the port covers are very stiff. You will not open and plug something in them with one hand although I suspect this issue will resolve itself with time. The second issue is the dirt, if you get dirt in this case it is extremly hard to take out and reinstall without putting more dirt, moreover if a tiny peice of dirt gets in through the speaker hole it will become more vonurable to dirt. I do not blame the case yet an issue is an issue

The positives: I like the idea of the see through back and the durability seems pretty ok! I wouldn't trust the case to handle the major falls but the typical fall off the couch or onto the ground it'll do its job well I believe. Built in screen protector is just a thin flexible layer of plastic that looks like it would probably protect against most scratches. My biggest issue is it came in the mail pre-scratched up and marked up with smears that I can't clean off at all. Despite it coming in the mail packaged with all the protection peel off things and foam insert to prevent it being bent I received mine in this condition. Not sure what could have happened to receive it like this but I can't use the case in this condition. It makes viewing my screen hard to enjoy.

I have always had covers that were a bit more heavy duty than this one, when I looked online for the LG Velvet there wasn't much selection aside from a few that had a kickstand built in which I am not a fan of. This case has a built in screen protector which is a huge plus! It detects my fingers great with the protector on no problems! It has little covers over the charging port and the headphone jack which is great to keep the dirt out. I also like that it has a silver border on the front of the top piece, which wasn't advertised to me in the add. I believe I ordered solid black but I was delightfully surprised it had a splash of silver on there. I would be a bit worried about dropping this phone with this case on it, the back isn't protected too much with just a thin layer of plastic on it. I may have to search for a more heavy duty case later on. Overall this case looks great and feels great! I just wish it had a bit more protection on the back of it.

This is similar to an old Samsung case I had for my Samsung S8. So I was pleased to see it for my new cell LG Velvet 2020 5G. It fits snug and securely. I've not done any drop tests with it. So I can't rate that way. I'm not dropping the phone on purpose. The fingerprint ID scanner works well. I like the covered audio and C-USB covers to keep out dust. Hardly has any weight to it, therefore makes the phone lighter than an old metal protector case I had prior. Buttons for volume etc are very responsive. Very happy with the case, will recommend it.
