However, when I got these, the little wood strips that are glued to the heel part peeled off after my first time wearing them! I didn't step in water and live in a pleasantly temperate area, so I know it wasn't due to that and none of my other pairs have ever done that either. Perhaps it's just the particular materials they used to make this one?
I had to glue the pieces back on myself, (it's painstaking, I can appreciate the hard work of whoever does this all the time!) which worked for about two weeks (me wearing them once a week) and they've since peeled off again. So now I'm going to go to a cobbler and see if they have any suggestions. These shoes are worth it.
Other than that, they're so adorable and I get many, many compliments on them. I can wear them for 4 - 12 hours with no pain--even do stairs! And this color goes with everything. Love them.
The bad: I needed to put inserts in. The shoes have little to no cushion.
The Ugly: What?!?! These shoes are Soo cute even the box they come in is fabulous.
