Another 5 of 5 stars for Creston Mapes!
This roller coaster ride is a must read. Mapes has perfected the head-jumping to a finely tuned craft. Sheer genius. In this book, he's perfected the way the story lines are interwoven and how they come together. Be prepared to read far into the night. Be prepared to consume this book like a tall glass of chocolate milk: You just can't drink it slowly. I promise you will not be disappointed.
UPON REFLECTION book review by Gina Burgess

4 Stars! Romantic Times
Mapes' latest is a compelling suspense tale that becomes more engaging as the clues grow in intricacy and fall into place  Multiple plotlines are interconnected and show the reader that bitterness is as poisonous as the deadly chemicals in the story.  This is a sequel with enough backstory to dive right in, but reading the books in order helps the reader build a deeper connection with the characters.

Library Journal
Mapes (NobodyFear Has a Name) has written a riveting story with well-drawn, quirky characters. This tension-filled tale will leave readers spellbound, wondering if one person can really fight a corporation and make a difference. Can faith in the face of fear give one the courage to do the right thing, regardless of the cost? VERDICT A roller-coaster ride of a thriller with strong protagonists and a story line that hits very close to home. Recommended for fans of Jonathan Harr's A Civil Action and of Erin Brockovich (Rock Bottom; Hot Water).

From the Author

I used to work as a reporter in an Ohio city very similar to Trenton City, Ohio--the setting for Poison Town. This has been one of my favorite books to write, because it's got some humor in it, especially as it relates to Jack's mechanic friends, Galen, Travis and LJ.
I love the cover and title of the book. It's the type of novel I would pick up. If you haven't read any of my novels before, Poison Town would be a great place to start.
