Top customer reviews
The only thing that makes possible sense of this jumble is that the author thinks its good marketing to stop a book short in order to leave readers wanting a sequel. I, for one, won't, after hundreds of pages that, ultimately, went nowhere. As an avid mystery buff, I prefer well-thought out plots that intelligently tie together in the end. I have never before read a mystery that left so many (whether sloppy or intentional) loose ends.
