A Very Disappointing Series

I've been watching the Pokemon anime since 1998 or 99 when it first aired on the states on the Kids WB till now. I first watched Journeys fansub when 2020 started. The first ten episodes wasn't that bad, but later the series get worse, worse, and worse. The reason why Journeys is bad because the writing is awful and the characters (except for Ash and Team Rocket) is god awful. Goh is poorly written character and has no appeal what so ever. Chloe has a potential for being a good character but ended up being useless. Each episode is random and has no big arcs plus with no development for the characters. Ash is the only good character but his team is the worst in the Pokemon anime because if any of Ash's Pokemon isn't name Pikachu, you're nothing. The artwork is better than Sun and Moon's (even though the artwork look K-ONish MOE Style) but the animation can be hid and missed. The music of the series is good and the voice acting in the Japanese dub is good. Sadly though Sarah Natachinny stilled voiced Ash in the english dub which means the dub is trashed. Overall Journeys is the worst series in the Pokemon anime and it's right here with A Familiar of Zero, Qwaser, Dokuro Chan, and Inukami as the worst anime I ever watched.

Where is the BluRay

I have enjoyed the series on Netflix and wondered if it would ever come out on disk. It did but unfortunately only DVD no BluRay. It is hard to justify buying anything on DVD that was made in HD. I will wait. They will either put it out on bluray or lose the sale.

DVD in 2022 is pretty sad. Nevertheless, I found it enjoyable.
