      At $279.99 this is too pricey, my mind was blown to learn the MSRP was $399.99. This should be $200 at most, but the quality is definitely there. Every card is holographic, three full decks, a mix of the original art work with a few new cards (they might be from sets I didn't buy, I only owned the original sets and the 151 set) The case unfolds into a very nice play mat, firm with a nice surface and three excellent deck holder cases. I can't imagine any Pokemon fan being disappointed with this, especially as a gift.

      The set contains three decks that are a mix of new cards and reprints of base set classics such as Charizard, Blastoise and Venasaur; As well as very nice leather deck boxes, matching sleeves, metal HP tokens & an arena style playboard/case

      Its a great set piece, an awesome teaching tool for playing TCG with a beginner and ultimately hits on the 90's nostalgia. It is however, very expensive for what you get, but as some of the cards in this set are exclusive, and are therefore quite valuable to collectors (The Charizard at a PSA10 being worth more than the set itself!) and there is a definite upmarket quality to all the accessories, I understand why.
