Each Pokémon Battle-e theme is made up of two nine-card sets. Each nine-card set contains eight Battle Cards and one Enigma Berry Card. The Freezing Ray theme pack contains two sets: Freezing Ray and Seizing Poison.
Freezing Ray The Target Trainer's Pokémon in the Freezing Ray set will use ice-type moves to chill the competition. Can you defeat this trainer or will you end up with cold feet?
Seizing Poison The Seizing Poison set's Target Trainer specializes in Poison and ghost attacks. Choose your team carefully or you may be left in a cloud of toxic dust!
What You Need to Play You will need the following to use Pokémon Battle-e Cards:
Two Game Boy Advance of Game Boy Advance SP or Nintendo GameCube with Game Boy Player systems
One Nintendo e-Reader
One Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable
One Pokémon Ruby or Pokémon Sapphire game
Before you can actually scan a card and meet a new Trainer, you need to activate Mystery Events in your Pokémon game.

These allow you to battle the people on the card by using the e-reader, but you must activate Mystery Event first by: Talking to the man by the PC and enter in "Mystery Event Is Exciting". But you MUST beat the league first for it to work!
