I was looking for something to keep baby's milk cold throughout the day in my car in Texas summer heat. It is amazing. I use about 8 packs in a really great cooler, and they are still partially frozen after a nine or so hour day. The milk is usually lukewarm when I put it in and chills quickly. I do not have to worry about maintaining safe temperature for such and important thing. Could not be happier.

I was looking for reasonably priced cold packs to use for my lunch. I've had these before and like them because they don't sweat. I've also never had a problem with one breaking open. Saw the 12 pack for a reasonable price so I bought them. Keep 4 in the freezer at all times and the rest are back ups.

My husband and I live in a remote rural location and go into town once a week to shop. We bring a cooler with us to keep our perishable food from spoiling on the drive home, especially in the summer. We love using these bricks instead of ice: no mess, no melted ice, and cold stuff stays COLD. The packs can be used over and over again and last a long time without leaking. Very highly recommended.

These are a little fuzzy, I wasn't expecting that when I got them but it doesn't matter. I use these for brewing and creating an ice bath. They work fine while being submerged and it seems I'm going to have them for a long time. Good product.

These freeze solid so if you put them in the freezer folded up, they will be frozen folded up & not flat.

They worked in my small cooler when I checked breast milk in my luggage.

I travel for work. A lot. and typically when I travel, I go away for 3 days at a time and drive at least 2 hours to get to work. I then stay in a hotel for those days and then drive home afterwards. Because I stay in a hotel, I prep my 3 days worth of meals before I go in. I have a refrigerator in my hotel room, but need to keep my food cold for approx 16 hours. I was finding this to be very difficult. When I pack my dinners for the road, I use a 12 can cooler, which I find works quite well and holds a good portion of food. I was looking for a solution that would keep my food cold, as well as take up minimal space in my cooler, as I needed to fit three meals in there. I came across these and was skeptical. I was concerned that with the soft moisture-free coating, it wasn't going to maintain the level of coolness I desired.

The fact that the case came with 12 in it was great. I've been able to use about 4-6 at a time and keep everything nice and chilled, as well as dry because there is no sweating of the ice packs. They're small enough to where I can fit a handful of them in my freezer at once and not worry about it taking up too much space.

I do have a few gripes with these ice packs though. The first, they are difficult to clean. If anything leaks onto them, you actually have to hand wash them with soap and water, and then let dry. You can't just try it with a paper towel and expect it to be dry like a typical ice pack. Second, I dropped one or two on the floor when frozen (butter fingers), which if you drop it the right way, or wrong way I supposed, it can cause it to tear a little, which means that you have the gel inside leaking out. Not a huge deal if your ice packs are never really thawing completely, I suppose, but for me it created an issue.

I really really like these ice packs. I put them in the bottom of my deep freezer (-35*) as flat as i can make them and they freeze solid. Just one cooled AND kept 10 oz fresh milk cold for 8 hours in a rather crappy lunch box! Of course I actually bought them for use with shipping refrigerated stuff too and it works very well for that. These are reusable and I can't say enough good things about these. They didn't even burst when I accidentally fell asleep on one! Not to mention for how good these are the price is awesome.

These did work well for 24 hours in a cooler but I would not compare them to dried ice at all. They do not sweat which is great. I put them in the cooler with food that was already cold on a Thursday around Midnight. By Friday night they were warm. I do think these are a good item but not for over 24 hours from my experience.
