I wanted to make sure it had enough air blowing out, so I decided to go with the large version, and I was quite surprised at how big it actually was! (I have attached a photo to show it's size in relation to a 16oz can...sorry, I didn't have a banana handy!) I am using it to blow dust out of my Canon camera's interior sensor, and it works great for that. The design is quite ingenious, actually. There is a small air inlet valve on the bottom of the rubber pump, and that is where the air is sucked back into the blower after using. This makes it to where the dust you just blew out doesn't get sucked back into the nozzle and redistributed during the next pump. This is definitely something you want to take into consideration when using a blower for cleaning camera sensors. It is extremely important! I would recommend the Rocket Air Blaster to anyone who asks. In my opinion, going with the larger blaster is better, because it has more air to blow out. Good for blowing dust off your vinyl LPs

Here's the deal: I read that the Library of Congress only uses air to clean their vinyl. (Or if something's really dirty, they have a wild cleaning solution that they give the recipe for on their web site). I had thought about buying compressed air to do the trick, but there's always a chance that some of the propellant will squirt out onto your precious LPs. (And then there's our precious ozone layer ... and your precious wallet, which doesn't need to be buying a new can of air every month.)

So I thought I'd give this a try, and man I'm really impressed! It's small (maybe just a tiny bit bigger would have been better for me, but my hands are kinda large), but it shoots out a nice solid blast of air. My hand gets tired after going around an LP once or twice. But you can get a good amount of dust/lint off in a couple of passes, especially once you figure out the best technique and angles.. I usually run a carbon fiber brush over the vinyl after the air cleaning. The air cleaning really reduces the number of rotations I need to keep the brush on the LP.

There's no smell to this that I can notice, and I like that the tip is a soft silicone piece, in case (heaven forbid) I happen to touch a record with it. ONE NOTE: you have to keep an eye on the plastic wand thing. It's just basically shoved into the silicone bulb, and if you squeeze it a lot (and hard) it will eventually dislodge itself and shoot across the room! I learned this the hard way, and now I keep an eye on it at all times (and push it back in regularly).

ANOTHER NOTE: Yours will probably not be red. As others have noted, they seem to be sending out blue ones.

Great for dusting slides prior to digitally converting.

This is an excellent way to remove surface dust before digitally converting your old slides.
Of course, it can be used in nurmerous ways such as dusting between the keys of your computer keyboard.

I saw this on amazon and thought Hey...I have a dog and a laptop, maybe I can use this. I don't like buying the cans of air so thought this would be a good alternative. It doesn't have as much force as a can of air (I guess I was expecting more force)...but it is what it is and works nicely for my purpose. So if you have a computer and pets this is a must-have!
