When giving a review, I feel it is sometimes necessary to define your use case. I can understand some of the lower ratings based on my assumption of the use cases. However, for us this dish rack works fairly well.
I am a big fan of the automatic dishwasher, especially modern, efficient models. I use it for almost all of our dishes, and as much of the prep/cooking bowls and pans as possible. I think it saves energy and is better on the environment than ME doing the hand washing and rinsing.
Therefore, our main use case is for big items that don't fit well in the dishwasher, and pans or other items that are not meant to be put in the dishwasher. Secondarily, I wanted something that was big enough, but not too big (tall), since our sink and dishwasher are in a kitchen island that faces a nice lake view. While I might like to be the person that puts the dish rack away under the sink after using it, the truth is that it just stays in the counter next to the sink.
The Polder KTH-615 satisfies those requirements.
Pros:
• Big enough for large and heavy items, and almost never has a balance problem. If I try to stack 3 half-sheet jelly roll pans close together on one side, then yes, it's unstable. I just don’t do that.
• Simple but flexible racks for odd-sized & shaped items.
• Just high enough for me, but not too high.
• The removable plastic drying tray is really handy when cleaning after a big meal that required a lot of prep bowls and pans. I think it’s easy to take out and put back. It’s not great for glasses, but perfect for large items.
• It’s fairly easy to get the main drying tray out of the frame in order to wash it every couple of months. I’ve had racks where the base and metal frame are attached, and that makes it a pain to wash.
• Large utensil holder.
• No rust after 10 months.
Cons:
• The drip tray is not tilted enough to enable all of the water to run out. This doesn’t bother me, because I wash mostly big items and let water drip off before putting them in the rack. I occasionally tip the empty rack towards the sink to remove extra water. If you wash a lot of small or medium sized items, this could be a bigger problem for you.
• The tray will collect mineral deposits because water doesn’t drain completely. This isn’t as big a problem for me, as we have pretty good water in Seattle, and I don’t have a large number of items in the dish rack.
• The openings are rather large in the metal frame on the sides between the utensil holder and the drain side/cupholder. Smaller items will fall through. If you have a lot of small hand wash items, then this could be a problem.
• The utensil holder could be a bit taller. This is something I’m willing to trade off, because I wanted a low-profile rack. If your dish rack has a wall behind it, then you may want a taller one.
So, there you have it. If this dish rack meets your use-case, then I rate it as a solid 4 stars.
Update 1/26/21: Still working fine. Thought I'd add a photo of the rack filled with stuff.

Update 1/26/21: Still working fine. Thought I'd add a photo of the rack filled with stuff.
I loved the idea of the separate drain board that slides under the main rack/drainboard, and it does expand the drying space, but for us it doesn't work as well as I had hoped. Water tends to accumulate in the "slider/drain tray", rather than draining off, but in our case the water flows to a location that is hidden underneath the drainboard of the main rack. The trapped water quickly becomes scummy unless you clean and put away your dish rack every day, which we don't do. Another option was to prop up the one side of the dishrack, so that water wouldn't accumulate in the slider tray, but then the water drains onto our counter, so we have just stopped using the slider tray.
This dish rack is replacing one of the more traditional Rubbermaid dish racks and in comparison to that, I'm very pleased with this one. It cleans easily, doesn't discolor, and in general makes our counter look a little neater. (Our dish rack has a permanent place on the counter beside the sink, so this might not be an issue if you put yours away each night.) I'm glad we purchased this and haven't found one I like better, even at much higher prices, but a few design changes are necessary to make this a perfect dish rack.
Did I mention it hold a ton of dishes! I mean, did you see how deep my sink is and how full of dishes it was?!
