Marc Morano's book cites many scientific studies that indicate:
(1) Historical records of global warming show that temperature increases begin hundreds of years before carbon dioxide (CO2) levels follow. Plants and animals flourished in past ages when CO2 levels were more than twice as high as now.
(2) At least 90% of greenhouse gas warming is due to water vapor and clouds; thus, CO2 level deserves less concern.
(3) Hurricanes, floods, droughts, and tornadoes have been less frequent during years after 1988 than before 1988, when atmospheric CO2 was 15% lower.
(4) Since computer models failed to predict the slowdown in rate of global warming between 1998 and 2013, they cannot reliably forecast climate changes decades in the future.
(5) EPA's Clean Power Plan would not significantly reduce global CO2 emissions. In 2025, total annual CO2 emissions by USA would be offset by three weeks of CO2 emissions by China.
(6) UN's 2015 Paris Climate Agreement would reduce global temperature about one degree Centigrade by 2100 AD, but would cost many trillions of dollars, would subjugate economic independence of participating nations, and would require global wealth redistribution.
(7) Eliminating use of fossil fuels for electricity generation would deny developing countries the opportunity to electrify and improve living conditions. In sub-Saharan Africa, gas-fired power projects would supply electricity for three times as many people as renewable energy projects would supply for the same cost.

This book brings up a number of facts and issues that the climate alarmists gloss over or simply do not answer. I was taught in graduate school that you have to weight all sides (or information) before drawing far reaching conclusions. There is a middle ground in the climate debate -- find it for yourself.

If nothing else, this book should correct anyone who believes in the 97% consensus on climate change. Many of the leading climatologists are dismayed that what should be a question of science has become almost totally political and like a religion to the true believers. Here are men and women that are giants in their fields of study standing up and saying "bo-o-o-Gus!" Morano has the guts to call out the Climate Change alarmists for their entention to keep Africa poor to address a non-existent problem.

It is so good to know that not all mainstream scientists blindly accept man caused climate change as true. There are plenty of contradictions to the current politically correct verbiage on climate change. This was the most informative book I have read in a long time.

I’m an environmental scientist and find the arguments within to be so inaccurate/incorrect as to be laughable. A climate change denying conspiracy theory rant written by a non-scientist from a ultra conservative think tank. Full of cherry picked, refuted and misinterpreted studies. If you want actual facts on climate change avoid. From what I can see in the reviews this is primarily being purchased by climate change deniers and conspiracy theorists to reinforce their bias, rather than anyone seriously wanting to know the truth about climate change.

Great read, goes into quite a bit of detail about how and why the concept of Anthropogenic Climate Change is seriously flawed (and seriously politicized). Lots and lots of source notes, unlike many others, so you can review those sources to determine if they are valid.

What's this? A climate denier screed backed by scientist after scientist, documented consistently, with footnotes throughout so every assertion is substantiated? Seriously, this book brings it all together for those of us who independently sought the truth about catastrophic man-made warming. Thank you, Mr. Morano.

I am angry that my local bookstore is even selling "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change." In terms of its factual baselessness and its moral abhorrence, it is on par with books propagating anti-vaccine paranoia or anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. This book promulgates dangerous falsehoods. Anthropogenic climate change is happening, and it has already killed many people. It is on track to kill millions more people (to say nothing of other species) if we do not take the problem seriously. Given the wealth of technical and non-technical information resources available on climate science, I have to assume that the author is intentionally lying for fun and profit. I cannot condemn his actions in strong enough terms.
Here are two representative examples of the book's content. The first is from the outright "Lies" category. The author claims that the large majority of the greenhouse effect is due to water vapor, and that therefore it is foolish to worry about human-caused emissions of the other greenhouse gases, which are relatively minor in comparison.
This "What about water vapor?" myth has been debunked countless times. Yes, it is true that water vapor is responsible for roughly 60% of the heat-trapping properties of the atmosphere. But water vapor is not a DRIVER of global warming. The equilibrium between how much water exists in vapor form in the atmosphere, versus how much water exists in liquid form in the oceans, depends entirely on the planet's surface temperature. There is an essentially unlimited supply of water in the oceans, and more (or less) of the water will go into the atmosphere as vapor if that atmosphere is made warmer (or cooler) by the other, long-lived greenhouse gases. Water vapor only has an atmospheric lifetime measured in days, so it's a quick-responding POSITIVE FEEDBACK mechanism for whatever else we do to affect our planet's temperature. This has been studied in exhaustive detail; it's built into every single climate model; and it's most certainly NOT an argument to debunk global warming.
And here's a second example from the "Nonsense" category. In keeping with the seriousness of this life-or-death topic, the book features a full-page sidebar on the question of "Did Leonardo DiCaprio's Parents Brainwash Him Into Environmentalism"? Look, if you can't even get your basic physics and chemistry right, I'm not interested in what you have to say about celebrity gossip.
It's one thing to be "politically incorrect" about topics that have some degree of personal opinion to them. It's another thing to give blatantly false answers to factual questions. We can reasonably disagree over questions such as whether we should try to limit warming to 1.5C or 2C, or what are the most economically efficient policy mechanisms to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in developed-country economies. But we cannot reasonably disagree on questions such as whether the climate is warming, what is causing it, and whether action is urgent. The author has chosen to ignore decades of climate science and mountains of data in order to proceed with telling his dangerous, cynical lies.
I am a scientist who has studied the topic of climate change for my entire career. If I had more time (and if I thought it would do any good), I would provide evidence-based rebuttals for every point in this book. In lieu of that, I want to urge you not to buy it, not to read it, and not to fall for this sort of cynical nonsense. None of us (including me) wish for climate change to be real, but wishing isn't going to solve the crisis we've gotten ourselves into. Only serious, sustained action will do that. As the rest of humanity rises to meet the challenge of building a sustainable future, Marc Morano and his ilk will be on the sidelines, peddling their increasingly absurd anti-science... and history will not judge them kindly.
PS. I've noticed many climate-denialist commenters deriding the negative reviews of this book by saying "Oh, not a Verified Purchase, so you didn't even read the book." I did read much of the book (enough to get a clear sense of its utter lack of credibility) in my local bookstore. No, of course I did not buy the book. I would not be willing to give the author a penny. Nor should you be.

Common sense ! if CO2 = 0.4% of the atmosphere and 97% of atmospheric CO2 is of natural origin then mankind is only responsible for 3% of 0.4% of the CO2 in the atmosphere and what on earth effect can such a TINY amount have on the climate? Answer ... Follow The Science ( Greeta's motto ! ) It turns out that water vapour is FAR more dangerous than CO2 ( but you can't tax water vapour ... ) and it also turns out that CO2 is GOOD for the environment because it encourages plant growth ( more crops to feed the starving millions ) .. THis book is rather a Revelation ( sic ) If you're interested in getting to the bottom of the Clumsily Conceived Climate Catastrophe Con ... Then you should read this book.

This excellent book exposes the deliberate lie of 'man made climate change'. Real fact based science has been condemned and suppressed by political agendas, biased media and big money.
This is a brave, honest and well researched book, and is essential reading for anyone who wants to cut through the global warming propaganda machine. Essential reading if you are interested in the truth, and having the ability to challenge the ridiculous scare mongering nonsense of global warming alarmists.

Whilst sometimes heavy going, this well researched and informative book puts into place all of the pieces of the jigsaw to create a truly disturbing picture. We are all being lied to and manipulated on a global scale,to suit the interests of both organizations and individuals who seek to gain power, influence, wealth and ultimately control of all of our lives, with the myth of(man made)climate change as their weapon.
We all need to be far more questioning and less willing to accept that which we are told by those in positions of power(political or financial),and as for the "scientific advisors" who claim to have all of the answers, and our best interests at heart.....Beware!!
As a footnote and for a greater insight, research :- Trilateral Commission.
