"...the manipulation of the mundane by means of religion ..." A fact of life? The reason par excellence for most of the great battles and wars of history?
In the light of events and happenings in the New South Africa, the post-apartheid South Africa of the 1990s, this book is indeed relevant to our present situation. Theopolitics play a very important role in the proceedings and findings of South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission and therefore I am of the opinion that all Old Testament and Biblical scholars, researchers, students alike should take notice of the conetents and of the importance of this book that covers a long period and many fields of interest.

Are there perhaps other scholars who also feel that you are working in isolation on a topic that is of major importance to all and sundry? If so, perhaps we could establish contact.
