By electrically charging oxygen with ions that neutralize odors and smoke particles, this closet freshener keeps clothes smelling rain-shower clean. The freshener has two cartridges containing cotton strips that can be infused with an essential oil from a fragrance shop. Two extra strips--but not any essential oils--come with the freshener. The freshener cycles off and on automatically, with high and low settings available. A Boost button on the front combats heavy odors and shuts off after 10 minutes. For plugging into a wall socket, an AC adapter is included. The freshener also runs on six C batteries (not included) for travel. A flashing yellow light indicates when batteries are low, and a red light turns on when they need replacing.
