I purchased the workbook for myself and my partner. While I have yet to finish it (always behind on my reading) I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far and look forward to learning and practicing the essential skills the book teaches. I personally think the book is important for anyone who experiences jealously (read: most of us), even those in monogamous relationships. My partner ADORED the book. He truly didn’t know much about polyamory before starting and now he brings up concepts from the book weekly. He really learned so much and appreciated the insight from the author who clearly has done a lot of work to understand and distill their own experiences for their readers. The positive changes I’ve seen in the way he evaluates his feelings surrounding our relationship have truly been a joy to witness. I cant wait to finish the workbook and have those experiences for myself.

While this books focuses on polyamory, it’s just a great read for anyone trying to have healthier relationships in their lives. The Polyamory Workbook lays the ground work for questions you need to ask yourself, expectations you need to be able to communicate, and juggling the variety of relationships in your life. This is a workbook that will leave you feeling better!

Polyamory isn’t for the faint of heart… But!

Sara’s writing, expediences, and journaling guides give practical insight to polyamory that can otherwise be hard to obtain. As queer folks, our experiences with polyamory are almost always acutely impacted by our queer identities and those intersections are explored by Sara in a really valuable way. I would recommend this book to anyone who is queer and looking to expand their understanding of polyamory.
