They look great and feel great!
The surface is nicely smooth and number stamping is quite good.
As is often the case with lower end opaques, they are a bit biased. (explained below)
A couple of the faces of the d12 are slightly sunken, but nothing I'm too worried about.
The paint in some of the numbers is not perfect, but still everything can be clearly read. Again, I'm not worried about it.
Now for the biases:
I did a Epsom salt and water float test on all of them and here is the bias on mine: (Bias is slight but still present)
d4 - 3
d6 - 2
d8 - 2
d10 - 4
d10 - 70 (percentage die)
d12 - 3
d20 - 12
After doing some roll testing, I don't think the bias is too severe to affect the average casual player, but because the bias does exist I can only give it 4/5 stars. If the bias wasn't there, I'd give them 5/5.
Great set of dice.
Pros: Design, weight, feel, overall quality and the great little bag that comes with them.
Cons: Slight flaws in the number paint if I really want to be picky, but its not noticeable unless I really search for it.
Top international reviews
-The D4 was not properly moulded and therefore had small pockets of air on one of the points. This makes it slightly more likely to land with that side up.
-The colour varied a lot, some had a nice balance between red and black, while some were just completely black. Another problem with the moulding. The colour was however very close to the photos.
-The included pouch which is clearly advertised as being black turned out to be light green instead. Not a big deal for me but could be a dealbraker for others.
Generally okay quality considering the price, but you can find cheaper dice on amazon with presumably the same quality..
As far as I've seen there's no air bubbles, however I am aware that the manufacturer has had problems with air bubbles in their transparent die before. For the price, I think it's expected that there may be some and if you want total quality assurance one should go for a much more expensive material such as steel, rather than these plastic die.
The numbers are clear and easy to read at a moment's notice, and even if one isn't used to the ten-sided d100, it's simple to see and become accustomed to it. The gold numbering is carefully applied, and I've yet to have any complaints with the sloppy application versus other colours and brands.
The pouch that comes with the die is sufficient enough, however I like to carry a large sack of die over individual baggies. Unfortunately they're uncommon and often beyond my price range on Amazon, so I go elsewhere for those. Still, the bag is a nice touch to save you losing your die once you've broken open the tightly encased plastic seal.
I can't recommend these dice highly enough!
Whilst rolling for stats, my D6 rolled 5 like 60% of the time. My total rolls for all 6 stats were 16, 16, 15, 14, 11 and 10. I'm already overpowered and I haven't even started playing proper yet.
I cant speak for durability just yet as they're fresh out of the bag, but I love them for the power they give my character, Grunt!
Bonus mention, the red and black colour would be perfect for a character playing an evil alignment.
As Grunt is a Lawful Neutral character, I'm happy to settle for the blue/pink dice
