Dice are dice pure and simple but color combinations are pure personal choice. This combination is easily readable and ascetically pleasing to me.

My only complaint is not with the dice but the amount of dice, I would love to find a larger set combination of d20 dice. This set contains 1 each, d20-percentile set(2d10)-d12-d8-d6-d4. As an avid d20 gamer, mainly DnD, I would like to find a set containing 2d20, percentile set(2d10), 2d12, 2d10 separate from percentile, 2d8, 6d6, 4d4, and shipping with a appropriate size dice bag with a locking slider on pull cord.

This was the second set of dice I bought from Chessex via Amazon (this set was for a friend in my D&D campaign), and I have been equally as impressed with both sets. The great price and the great quality make this item a steal, and the wide variety of designs (all of which are pretty dang cool) makes this item perfect for anybody who tabletops, no matter what your tastes entail.

Small Error, Quickly Fixed!

The dice came in good time, but there was a slight problem with the d12: the 1 had a small white circle around it, probably from a production error. I contacted Chessex directly with a photo, and they sent me several replacements in the mail with no fuss! FANTASTIC service and excellent dice! I would recommend Chessex to ANYONE looking for gaming equipment!

The dice themselves are beautiful. The photographs on Amazon really don't do these dice justice. The white lettering on the dark background is crisp and clear. The plastic carrying box is the right size for display, but I would prefer a small bag. (No biggie; they sell those too: Chessex Dice: Velour Cloth Dice Bag Small (4 x 6) - BLACK - Holds Approximately 20-30 Dice )

Regardless, based on service alone, I will look at Chessex's catalog first for my gaming equipment. Great customer service. Don't hesitate--they'll make it right.

I was super excited to get this for my old roommmate's birthday but was super bummed when the 10-sided dice arrived cracked and chipped.

The manufacturer said they couldn't replace it, Amazon said they couldn't, and nobody gave me an answer that made any sense or offered a replacement.

Would not buy from this company again.

Minor edge defects such as miscolored line paint and mispolished edges. Doesn't seem I affect rolling definitely why I like seeing he dice in person before I buy them. For 6ish dollars not worth returning for minor imperfections.

I use them mainly for counters in card games and also for the occasional random number needed in the games. They seem to be perfectly random to me, but I didn't look into it scientifically. I also specifically got the stealth ones because they had white writing on a black background that is easy to see. Even the 20-sided is easy to read from across a table, making it easy to read when using it as a life counter.
