The opaque amber PSU round rod has a standard tolerance and meets American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM D6394 specifications. PSU (polysulfone) is a durable, rigid plastic that combines high strength, good impact resistance, low moisture absorption, and minimal deformation caused by creep. The material is also typically resistant to greases, many solvents, and chemicals.

Plastic refers to a group of synthetic or semi-synthetic materials that have been engineered to achieve specific properties.
