I'm tired of purchasing tomatoes to sauce for pasta only to have them devolve into a water mess. Unless I buy heirlooms, which aren't always available, the tomatoes in the market are akin to water balloons - pretty to look at, but worthless for sauces. Pomi Tomatoes are real tomatoes and require less time to cook for a decent sauce AND, most importantly, there are ONLY TOMATOES in the box. There is no added salt or sugar or chemicals. I learned to cook in Southern Italy and I'm from the Southern US and I know tomatoes. I love this product!
