You can snap 2 of them together on one edge to make a big double sided tarp. I carry 2 in my bugout bag or in my truck as not only a way to stay dry if I have to go out on foot, but I also have a tarp/shelter system. Fit is great, and I'm 6'1" 245# and one poncho covers me and a mid size tactical backpack. It would be tricky to fit one of these over a full size backpack, especially a pack that had gear above neck level. The head hole was a little snug, but once on, it was not tight. I do have a big skull though (7 3/4 fitted hats are a bit snug), so maybe it's just me. Wasn't an issue for me though, but maybe if I was wearing a hoodie.
Product arrived FAST (I do have Prime- so take that into consideration lol)
Was exactly as described and pictured- lengthy on me. I'm 5'6" and this came past my knees. I'm also a curvy girl, and this poncho still swims on me- so speaking for the women out there with a little extra meat on your bones, don't be afraid to purchase this if you're thinking it won't fit, cuz it will. Pretty Durable material, medium weight- not "plasticy" at all..compared to most ponchos I've had this one I can tell will hold up well.
Has the zipper as pictured. Which I love, grommet holes as well as the button closures. Very spacious and a nice dark green color.
Literally the ONLY thing I'm nervous About is the hood, would have preferred a small bill so water isn't pouring down my face, but easily fixed by wearing a hat underneath or tightening the strings.. No bill was advertised, so really just an oversight on my behalf.
I love the fact that I can turn this into a make shift shelter if the apocalypse comes and I'm in need of some quick cover.. Lol
All in all, love it- worth the money :)
The neck / head opening is a bit small for a guy my size but it works find and I do appreciate the smaller opening once the heavy rains come down.
