The lens are beautiful but I only gave it 3 stars because both headlights were defective. The driver one the low beam was out and the passenger side the high beam was out. Had I needed it for the lights and not new lens I'd have given it 1 star. Another example of you get what you pay for.

These are horrible, they did not pass State Inspection as there was n0 pattern that could be aimed, they did not project a beam to see at night. My daughter stopped driving at night because she couldn't see. I drove her car and found this to be true.

The lights themselves were fine they just did not say anything in the listing about not having the bracketing system to hold the light in unfortunately my vehicle had front end damage and I lost all of the part so now I have to spend $120 on the bracketing system in order to have the headlights it in and not fall out definitely a pain in the ass never had this issue before with any other cars Pontiac is quite weird in the way that they put the headlight assemblies together

Headlights look great, however the bottom adjusters pretty much fell off right out of the box, had to take the old adjusters out of the old headlight and use those. The headlight bulbs that are included were not very bright, I replaced them with upgraded lights from Napa. The headlights are very spotty in front of the car, but down road work well.

These are okay. I stripped out the adjustment screws before I even installed the light so I replaced the lower adjusters with the originals before install. They were a little tricky to get in there but fitment seemed fine.
The light pattern is pretty spotty and broken up. And it was VERY difficult to adjust the beams. Mostly because the adjuster screw popped out of the cradle because it was too tight. I tried moving the entire assembly to take up slack, but still can't quite get the beam in the right place.
As seen in photos, the headlight NOW sits almost 2" higher than the OEM. After a month, the weather strip has fallen off the bottom, and it looks out of place because it's so high.
This came WITH new headlight bulbs installed, but you will need the others from the old unit. Overall, it's a big improvement. Color of the light is about 3000k, which I prefer, but the orientation is the main issue, as well as the inability to fully adjust properly.

Great OEM Replacement at a Fraction of the Cost!

I have a 2000 Grand Am GT and the factory headlights were hazing over badly. It's a common problem for all Grand Am owners. I've tried all the "restoration kits" to make the old lenses more clear, but they only made a small difference in the clarity, and only lasted for a short time before clouding back over again.

I've priced OEM replacement lenses before, and they're well over $300 a pair! Since I already have an Amazon account, this was a no-brainer at this price to buy these!

After installing the new lights tonight, all I can say is what a difference clear lenses make! As before and over the years, I've tried all kinds of polishes, blue tipped bulbs, even Silver Stars to make the beams more bright. As soon as I switched on the new lights after dark..WOW! I can finally see at night! Of course, I replaced the bulbs that were included with these lenses (nice bonus to have a spare set now) with the Silver Stars I have now, and when I kick on the high beams, I can literally see for a 1/4 mile down the road. HUGE difference new lenses make! The low beams make a wide horizontal pattern <-----> and not much vertical. That's a good thing! You're not blinding oncoming drivers. You can see both sides of the road with literally 180 degrees of vision. I'm not sure if that's the way the body is focusing the light, or if my old lenses were so cloudy that I couldn't tell. Then again, I use Silver Stars, so it could be the bulb making that pattern.

Something worth noting about these: These lenses are made differently than what was factory original. They seem to be made out of a metallic base material and not just cheap plastic for the body. They feel heavier and seem to be more "sturdy" than OEM. Hard to describe, but *very* different. And yes, the light bulb "rings" ARE different than the cheap OEM rings that have just three tabs that VERY easily break off! I believe these bulb rings will last for many more years than the others will.

Over all, this is a great buy! It does take some time to install these...about an hour, but well worth the effort in the end!

Don't buy if you want to see at night!

They look better than the old yellowed original assemblies but that's about as far as it goes. I talked myself into buying these even though I saw a number of bad reviews, but I regret not spending more money on headlights that would actually help me see at night. Maybe I was a little too confident that I could "make em work" if they weren't perfect. No dice. As another reviewer says, you just can't adjust them to get even a decent pattern at all. Just scattered light that's way too high and wide on high and way too low and narrow on low. I'd say they're at least good enough to make the car legal, but I still get nervous that a cop will be able to see just how unsafe the light distribution is.
