Naturally, these are easy to use. But I was impressed with how sturdy they are. I load my old set to someone a few years ago and never got them back. I purchased these as a replacement and was very, very pleased with their quality.

Works OK but the clamps are kind of hard to adjust. The screw clamps are not held in place well and wander off-center. When the clamps are off-center the screw get jammed when you tighten them and you have to be careful not to strip the threads. You kind of have to kludge it by holding the screw drive flat with one thumb while holding down the board while tightening with the other hand. Oh, yeah, you may need 3 hands.

Also, for some reason there is a 1/8" groove on the inner edge of the flat bottom guide of the clamp. The problem is if you have 1/8" thick plywood then depending on the exact thickness the wood may get stuck halfway into the groove at some angle and the stuck edge will not be properly aligned parallel to the guide. Thinner than 1/8" and the board can slide flush into the groove. Thicker than 1/8" and the board doesn't fall into the groove. I just happened to be working on a project using 1/8" plywood, the sweet spot of sub-optimality.

On the plus side, once you get your wood pieces to slide in straight you can get a decent 90º joint.

Excellent product, sold at a very fair price with below cost shipping! These clamps even look good sitting on my pegboard. They are made from die cast aluminum, lightweight, and effective. I used them for clamping loose wooden picture frames bought at garage sales. You can put some wood glue like Titebond in between mitered frame loose joints, then clamp them on all 4 sides and tighten evenly to set.

I tried clamping with 1 or 2 DeWalt or Irwing clamps on opposing sides, but with picture frames, this is not a balanced glue job. The frame will set out of alignment if you do not use 4 clamps at the same time. This set was priced very reasonably, and worked well at doing its job. I have recommended this to my son who does hobby woodwork, and to my neighbor for DIY projects around the house.

The sellers are a small family business, and work hard on good fulfillment, so happy to give them my business and support small family business instead of huge corporations. Heartily recommend!

I was looking around at cheap corner brackets to aid with making frames and other small woodworking projects. Many of the inexpensive varieties got a lot of poor reviews so I was getting a little discouraged that I would find something that would meet my needs but not break the bank. Then I saw these at a local hardware store and they looked like reasonable quality. Amazon was having a good deal on them so I ordered and hoped for the best.

These have a more polished look and feel than most of the low cost competitors. For example, the ends the screw toggle are rounded off instead of hammered flat to lock them in place. They do still have a small rivet that takes all of the clamping force of the screw which is likely the weak point in the design. I haven't had any problems with it, but I am conscious of putting too much force on it with the screw.

The action of the screw leave a little to be desired. It takes a lot of turns to re-position the bracket. Since it isn't built for strength, they could have used a coarser thread that allows the bracket to move further with less turns. That will give you less torque capability, but given that these are for lightweight jobs, that is probably a good thing.

Pros:
Better fit and finish than competitor clamps
Good price at the time I got it, anyway
Good for small, lightweight projects

Cons:
Slow to adjust

Love these clamps, love that they came in a 4 pack even more. They're corner clamps, work well and helps ensure corners and butt joints are square. They do their job well, and hold pressure when tightened well. My only grip is that the clamps are shallow, a little less than an inch deep (just an estimate). That works well for small projects like photo frames and such, but I'd much prefer a deeper clamp. A deeper clamp would work better for framing larger projects like shelves, cabinets, etc. I still use them for larger projects, including 2x lumber - they help but would help more with deeper clamps.

They do their job very well, and are good quality, with smooth tightening. As is, they're very good for the price. I'd love deeper clamps, that would make them even better. Definitely a must have in my shop, and likely getting more soon.

Makes it every to make perfect squares, even for the new DIY'er. They are a bit smaller than I expected though, and could use bigger handles to turn

Not a bad set of corner clamps for use by the average do-it-yourself person. I use them to make picture frames, they work OK for that but are not sturdy enough, in my opinion. for heavy use.

These have been exactly the same for decades as I ordered some new ones and they match old ones that I had as if they came out of the same mold.
