Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts... I remember eating them a while ago as a little kid, and they're still pretty good.

The pop-tarts come 2 per wrapper, and there are 6 wrappers in each box, and there are 3 of those boxes inside another larger box, for a total of 36 pop-tarts.

The wrappers are nice-looking, full-color printed, and are made of somewhat sturdier plastic, compared to the thin foil wrappers from other packs of pop-tarts. This makes them good for putting in vending machines (according to the label), and you can microwave them in the wrapper if you want.

The boxes are perforated so you can fold the box into a neat countertop dispenser with a "Pop-tarts" sign, possibly for use in stores. Although I have no need for the dispenser, I tried folding it for fun, and it took a bit of effort to avoid tearing the box apart.

As for the actual pastries, they're the same as any other pop-tart. A flat-ish rectangle, with some sugary filling, and frosting on the top. I did notice that Kellogg's has been cutting back on the frosting and filling a bit, as there seems to be more crust around the edges, and you can also see the crust through the layer of frosting, which is quite different from what I remember a few years ago. Still seems to have the same taste as I remember, at least.

Just don't expect there to be 36 bags of pop-tarts making 72 pop-tarts, it's 3 boxes of 6 packets of 2 pop-tarts. That being said I thought it was a pretty good deal, and I can never find Brown Sugar Cinnamon at my local grocery store. The food was fresh and the packaging undamaged. I did have one poptart be kind of crumbly as a result of the shipping but I would say it's comparable to the damaged ratio in the grocery store.

If you like Brown Sugar Cinnamon, you should buy.

They taste good, but gave me heartburn and an upset stomach. So I now use them to catch unwanted animals in the yard. The raccoon really liked em'. He knocked over the cage the night before to avoid triggering the trap just so he could get his pop-tart fix! Putting a brick on top of the cage fixed that! You can see them in his paw. He literally risked his life for pop-tarts. We didn't kill him, although I suppose you could buy these pop-tarts and trade up for raccoon meat. Also, saved a trip to the store for marshmallows and now we have a value pack of raccoon/groundhog bait.

Item was purchased through Prime Pantry. The packaging was damaged during transit, and most of the pop tarts were broken, some were in crumbles. I enjoy this flavor of pop tarts, but would not recommend purchasing through Prime Pantry.

I love the brown sugar and cinnamon pop-tarts. I can eat these warmed up or cold either way they are still both good. I'm fairly disappointed with Amazon though because unless you buy them through amazon pantry the prices are too high to be ignored. Unless you calculate the cost of shipping costs. I looked up primepantry a few minutes ago and it says unavailable mayhaps they are going to discontinue that program? Aside from that irritant who doesn't love a quick and easy morning breakfast?!

Kellogg's Frosted Brown Sugar Pop-Tarts are exactly what you would expect them to be if you have ever tried them before. If you have never tried Kellogg's Pop-Tarts here is what you can expect. These are typically marketed as a breakfast item, but the truth is they are good any time of the day. They a usually toasted in a toaster, but truth be told they are good cold as well. They are considered a pastry, but they are very cookie like as well. Inside you find the wonderful brown sugar filling, and on the outside is a light frosting on one side. These two area is where the sweetness actually comes from, as the pastry itself is not really sweet. The pop-tarts come wrapped in a foil packet and there are two pieces in each packet, which makes them the perfect serving size.

I got addicted to this Pop-Tart variety as a kid, and still am! Yeah, these aren't good for you and certainly don't count as a decent breakfast, but so what? I like to toast one of these up as a late-night treat, or any time I want a quick snack to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Note: I'm not usually fanatical about brand names vs. store knockoffs, but in the case of Pop-Tarts, Kellogg's is the only way to go. Both the pastry and the fillings are significantly better than what you get with the generic brands.

One of the few junky holdovers from when I was a kid that I not only still enjoy, but can do so without paying the consequences later. (Captain Crunch now shreds the inside of my mouth. Popsicles make my teeth ache. Candies I used to love are now sickeningly sweet. Nobody needs to hear what brightly colored cereals like Trix & Froot Loops do to me.)

I actually prefer the low fat version Pop Tarts because they come out of the toaster a little more crispy around the edges- whereas the originals are more crumbly, but that wasn't an option at the time of this purchase. I always eat all the way around the outside, saving the part with the most filling for last. One of my happiest food memories was when I was 7 & they started putting FROSTING on them. Even better than that, a few years later Kellogg's brought out "Danish Go-Rounds" which was the absolute BEST packaged breakfast food EVER! A gourmet Pop-Tart, if you will. I'd love to see those again but in the meantime, I will enjoy a Pop-Tart every now and then.
