My wife and I each got one of these, and after using a $2 one from Walmart for 5 months, I can definitely see these are way better quality, but you pay for it.. Mine was $10 and hers was $15. Hers has a horse heartbeat design. They pop half-way or all the way out, but I haven't found any use for them being popped half-way out. They're good for holding the phone in one hand or propping it up on a surface. The image on the the back is obviously just printed on, but has a nice mostly-smooth texture, and the material that is constantly being folded and unfolded is thick and durable compared to my old cheap imitation. You can twist these after sticking to your phone, so you can orient the image into any position, yet there's enough resistant to turning that it won't just turn randomly (unless you stick it nowhere near the center of your phone and hold it only by the printed disk...sideways, because reasons I guess...).

The only improvement they could make on these is have the 60% of the outer edge of the disk gradually dome down to level with the phone's surface when collapsed, to give enough space to grab it to pop in and out, yet effectively lower the profile when collapsed so that it doesn't catch on a pocket when sliding the phone into jeans.

This was the first pop socket i have ever gotten. Years ago. It was by far the most superior. It stuck so hard to anyyyyyy phone case surface including waterproof cases that i could not remove it for about 2 years. And then when i was able to take it off i restuck it onto a new case and it lasted about another year before it broke and i had to get a new one. But here is the thing. I ordered my new one from popsockets website. When i got it it fell right off my phone in an hour. I was confused because the first one i ordered from their amazon store was amazing. So i called them and they sent me a new free one. That one did the same thing. I even tried the new stickers they had with them that are supposed to help them stick. Still wouldnt stay. I ended up having to super glue my newer pop socket to my phone case. So back when i got this galaxy one it was amazing. But their new ones they must be using a newer crappier adhesive. So i doubt the quality will ever compare to the original pop sockets from years ago. But i still love pop sockets so i will keep super glueing them to my phones.

I put this POPSOCKET on the back of my phone, which was nice, as it prevented me from dropping it many times. It was easily collapsible and looked great on my phone (I received a ton of compliments!), but after a couple months of use, the hinges started to break. If you've never seen a POPSOCKET before, this might be difficult to explain, but basically, there is a plastic disk with your image on it. This disk has small "legs" that connect into the base of the POPSOCKET, which keeps it all together. After a while, these little connector pieces started to break, which led to the plastic backing falling off frequently. That wouldn't be too large of an issue if the plastic back weren't necessary for the actual product to function, which it is. Without the back, you basically just have an empty plastic (or some other material?) cone stuck onto the back of your phone, which honestly doesn't receive as many compliments as one would like. Overall, I truly enjoyed having this POPSOCKET on my phone, and even after it broke, I purchased two (2) other ones. Even though it did break after a while, I still appreciate the quality of it otherwise, and I would recommend this to any clumsy, phone-dropping friends who may need it.

I have been kind of religiously swearing by these dang circles. I received the purpley nebula design and it was beautiful. I didn't order a second because I like my phone case and I didn't wanna cover it with grabbies, but I think I prefer having two. Couple reasons: I watch a lot of YouTube videos while I do old lady crafts. Two is sturdier than one in this regard.
Other reason is simple. Bad cables. My biggest pet peeves is the left headphone going out because of wiring. Same with chargers. Cheap phone chargers fall apart if the wind picks up and being able to stabilize the cord by wrapping, stretching and holding just right, it buys me time to order a working one.

However they be expensive my dude. Two of these CIRCLES can be $30 if you like it fresh and classy and functional. First ones I got were Jenna marbles (YouTuber) limited editions with pictures of her dogs. They were cute as hell but DANG my dude. Just tape my phone to my hand it's so much cheaper.

If you catch them on sale? Heck yes.
No? It's cool there's way cute dupes out there exactly the same.

Did I mention the adhesive? Yeah my last pair are still on the phone I left on the hood of my friends car after taking a sharp left, flinging phone into a McDonald's parking lot.

Phone did not survive. RIP in peace.

These original popsockets stick the best on most cases. I have purchased on Amazon and on Popsocket site (their site has no reviews). You can resuse many times or move to another position easily even without wetting the bottom. But there are website instructions for wetting bottom & letting dry to reapply if it's dried out.

My favorite part is that if you own a few you don't have to remove the sticky bottom, but can just switch out the top.

The one thing I don't like is that colors in same popsocket are not consistent. I own several and have bought several for gifts of the same ones and some are rich in color and others not so much, like this nebula for example. Another one that I found varies in depth of color a lot is the abalone. Several do not look as good as pictured.
The other disadvantage is wireless charging since it doesn't allow the phone back to come in direct contact with the charging base.

Once you get used to it, it does come in handy for pictures giving you a more secure hold on the phone. If it gets wet, it will detach. Also handy as a stand for watching videos. You can use 2 on ipads and ipad mini's for a stand.

Received today and I peeled away the sticker to attach to my phone case and when I popped it open to used the whole product came away leaving behind the black sticker and the rim. Tried to save it by removing the top to fix but the whole is warped and won’t hold the rest of the product together. Very disappointed.

Doesn’t stick properly, doesn’t come with good instructions. I cleaned the surface and all the steps like previous ring stands although it comes with nothing, and literally falls off every time you try to pull it out to make it stand!

DO NOT BOTHER! Absolutely awful! Wouldn’t mind if it was £1 but seriously a rip off!

I bought this because I bought a new case for my phone and needed a new adhesive piece to attach with as I already have one (knock-off). Totally unimpressed with this "real thing". The backing that is meant to attach to the phone case only stayed stuck on for about two days and now it's been falling off almost every time I pick it up. On top of that, the actual holder piece is lopsided when it's at full extension, and it's very stiff to pull out which I suspect has had something to do with why it won't stay connected to my case, because I have to pull so hard to open it up. For a product that they expect sometimes £15 for, this is not the quality that was expected. Poor.

I have small hands so I wanted something for when I would be using my phone when walking. This is more hassle than it’s worth! It’s not the easiest thing to pop out, feels cheap, adds a lot of bulk to the phone, and doesn’t particularly want to stick to my phone case, so keeps detaching. I’ll be using it for a few days until an alternative arrives, then it’ll be going straight in the bin! Utter rip off for something that likely costs about 10p to be made.

I've no idea why there are so many reviews saying this doesn't work. The popsocket is well and truly stuck to my phone case. It might fall off if I try to take it off and rearrange it a couple of times, so it's important to get it right the first time you stick it on. I did have to alter it once - as soon as I tried to place it the first time - and as I said, I've had no problems. This has been on my phone for a month now and shows no signs of falling off. It's sturdy, the picture isn't high quality but still pretty and effective. Overall, perfect popsocket.
