For commercial sauce it does not get any better. It has the bite of vinegar that definitely is a wake-up call if your taste buds are jaded. No surprise, the first ingredient is vinegar, the second is sugar water. As a good chef would know, the dance in fine dining is between sweet and sour. This is perhaps on the vinegar side a bit but that is what I like about it. The ingredients amazingly does not include some of the stuff we need to avoid like High Fructose Corn Syrup which is used everywhere in processed food for the simple reason that it is the large scale cheapest sweetener available.

I would even say this is good enough that I might just stop making my own sauces. I don't believe I would do better and perhaps not even as good and I consider myself a capable grilling man. Till death do us part.

This BBQ sauce lives up to it's reviews; It is not a big bold sauce but instead it is a sauce with multi -layered flavors that greatly compliment barbaqued or grilled meat, especially Chicken & pork.
This is the 2md time I have purchased this sauce and have started sharing with my friends and family.

Outstanding barbecue sauce but no sauce is worth this price. Fortunately, I am able to buy this sauce locally. If you can find this sauce at a reasonable price, then I don't think you will be disappointed with Pork Barrel - and my favorite is the Original version. It is sweet with just the right vinegary tang.

I didn't love this, but I am used to sickenly sweet sauces, lol. This one is less so, and has a nice peppery bite to it if you like that. This was the favorite of America's Test Kitchen, but it just didn't do it for my kids. I do recommend it if you want something different.
