My favorite were poems with simple introspection on everyday objects --like Jutta ra Moja/ Shoes and Socks. Those poems are fresh and original. I also liked the reflections, the philosophical ones, the ones on unrequited love, and the celebration of love, muktaks and the songs.
Also, I am not sure if the bilingual poems were needed. As is, the Nepali poems are far stronger than their English version of the same. However, I can understand the author's reasoning for translation, so that some of his English speaking friends can read his book.
I was disappointed by the review of Ram Prasad Gyawali. The review did not seem to provide full justice to subtle elements in the book.
