Wyatt (the Australian Parker) is as down and dirty and remorseless as Parker and the caper plots are as well written (actually a little more "literate") and hardboiled as Richard Stark's.
There are no Good guys in either series. Just some not as bad as others.
If you like 'em nasty, violent and hardboiled with believable "low tech" action, then this is THE series for you.
Along with Stark/Parker, this is one of the 2 BEST Crime series EVER printed.
So get them all-in order....Kickback, Paydirt, Deathdeal, Crosskill, Port Vila Blues and The Fallout....
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED reading for the "criminal" mind.
