Tips: put a cozy blanket underneath you otherwise you'll wake up with your top half warm (blanket) and your bottom half (cot) cold.
you're not gonna be able to snuggle, really, because the bars in between the two, but a yoga mat bridging the two helps with knees and ankles. Also in the yoga mat zone, if you need padding (we were fine without it) a yoga mat fits *perfectly* on these
STATS: I'm 260 my husband is 240, and our dog is 110lbs (English Black Lab) I slept in one, he slept in the other, the dog kind of bridged the gap or slept on my feet. no wobbling, all the connectors are great. I have recommended this cot to at least 3 people.
So far, the construction seems pretty sound. As I mentioned, we've assembled them ahead of our upcoming camping trip to get them stretched out and I've been laying in them occasionally to stretch them out further. Both cots are holding up fine. I'm 160 and am not worried that either cot will collapse on me. Though, I will mention, one is slightly wobbly.
I'll update after our camping trip at the beginning of April if things go horribly wrong.
YES, putting on the second cross bar is a little tricky, but once you figure out how to do it, it gets pretty easy.
Q: What's the trick to get the second cross bar on?
A: Role the cross bar on both sides are the same time ... that tick worked for me .... after not getting it for 10 minutes.
