The book was hard to put down. I spent hours at a time reading it. Covers society, spirituality, and the mentality of a society weaving it all with quantum physics, and it's so well done I never lost track of the storyline. It made me think about my own existence and belief system." -- Literary Titan

The author's writing style won't appeal to everyone - the point of view shifts between characters, and sometimes the detailed descriptions of settings, landscapes, etc. get a bit lengthy - but that shouldn't stop you from giving it a try if you like fantasy, sci fi, or new age-y spiritual enlightenment kind of stuff. It is over 400 pages, though, so be prepared for that. I will be curious to see what Teressi comes up with next.
Along the way they encounter storms and their greatest fears. They encounter lessons in harmonies that they don’t want to see. I loved the spiritual lessons presented in this book, about living in the present and finding your "rythm". Through the teams many misadventures great spiritual truths are uncovered. If you enjoyed the “Celestine Prophecy” series you will like this book as well. I loved this book.
The story pace starts out a little slow but picks up once the travelers meet Fabius and Filloloper. It irritated me at times how hard the Gripps held onto the doctrine of Grippland but I realized it was because they were oppressed. It is human nature to hold onto to what you know in times of fear and stepping into the unknown. It was detestable the extent of the oppression level from the words that are used to even their thoughts were monitored. The author does a good job of incorporating the harmony lessons so that the reader can follow along and maybe make changes in their own lives. Overall, good read for anyone who likes dystopian fantasy and science fiction filled with time travel.
