I have followed Philip's photographic career and life for decades and have never been disappointed in seeing his work. He is a master at the portrait medium as this book affirms. The character of each subject becomes clear to the viewer immediately. This volume is the only such that I have seen to manage that distinction. The images are just superb, the organization thoughtful and the quality of the presentation is magnificent. RY

Phil's work is stunning. I have witnessed his work evolve over several decades. A constant in his work has been Phil's ability to capture the essence, character and granular detail of so many of his subjects. His 'On the Job' is no exception - it is simply stunning and a must have for collectors of his work and work of this genre.

We all can take pictures, but not many have the gift to take portraits. Philip Bermingham is one such talent. He traveled the world to take portraits of many famous and not so famous sitters. A well chosen selection of his masterpieces are united in this book. It will delight the viewer and spark many interesting conversations! A jewel of a book.
