Building on the Overworld framework and focused on the greater Atlanta metro area, "Possessed By You" is another girl-meets-demon storyline, but Emily Glass is definitely not another Elyssa Borathen. Though both are strong female leads, where Elyssa is admirable, I found Emily to be more likable.
As before, Corwin introduces a cast of engaging characters and fleshes them out as the story progresses. It will be interesting to see where Corwin takes them in future volumes.
There are some adult passages in the book but nothing like the 50 Shades of Gray mentioned in another comment: it's pretty much straightforward without any kinks. If you're an actual adult, there's nothing here that will make you blush.
One of the things I enjoyed most about "Possessed By You" was that, while Corwin set the stage for future volumes, the ending wasn't the usual cliffhanger that leaves you wishing you hadn't read the book until the following volume appeared. Corwin brought this episode to a very satisfactory conclusion.
